International VC17m antifouling paint creates an incredibly smooth surface even without sanding. Paint dries in 20 minutes to a very smooth, low friction surface and does not create build up of paint and is suitable for burnishing to provide a smoother finish.

Preparation of hull
- Old VC17m - Wash down with fresh water
- Other antifoulings - Use International Interstrip to remove all traces of antifouling
- Bare GRP - Use VC General Thinner to clean and fully degrease the surface. Lightly sand with 240 grade paper. Rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Use VC Tar2 to prime and protect hull against osmosis.
- Steel - Prime with VC Tar2 to prevent corrosion
- Lead - Prime with VC Tar2
- Wood - Consult us for specific recomendations
Mixing
Cut a small corner of the plastic bag containing the powder (stored under the plastic hat) and carefully pour the powder in to the can. This should be done indoor or shielded from the windand ensuring the powder is pouredas closely to the surface as possible to avoid any waste of the powder into the environment. Stir or shake throughly for 5 minutes to ensure homogeneity of the paint. The can be large enough to allow easy stirring. Once mixed, the product can be used for up to 7 days, provided that it is stored with the lid on and mixed thoroughly for 5 minuted before application.
Thinning
Thinning is not recommended. The antifouling performance can be compromised if correct dry thickness is not applied.
Cleaning
YTA600 International VC General Thinner can be used to remove splashes of VC17m from the topsides.

In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we will exchange or refund in full, excluding carriage, if goods are received back by us in the original saleable condition within 28 days of the date shown on your invoice. Goods are to be returned by you at your own cost with all original packaging.

If you are returning a product in exchange for another size or colour, carriage will be charged on the replacement product.
Returned goods must be packaged securely, with all original packaging undamaged and all tags and labels still attached to product in a saleable condition i.e. goods must be returned in the same condition as when received. When returning goods, goods remain the responsibility of the customer until received by us at our address shown below, we therefore recommend that a courier is used that offers a recorded, trackable method of shipment. Please retain a proof of postage.
Please be aware that we do not offer a refund/exchange on damaged goods, special order items, oils/ liquids or products made to order i.e. cut lengths of rope, chain and wire.

How to make a return
1. Complete the Returns Form included with your order and return inside parcel along with a copy of original receipt.

3. When we have received the item, we will notify you by email.
4. If you are eligible for a refund, we will do so within 7 working days of receipt of the return. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.
